Ideas how to change London

The six Policy Consultation Papers published by the Sadiq Khan campaign on October 16th offer plenty for Changing London to celebrate and a great many gaps to be filled. Support Boku and other London-based companies

A key element for London’s future is the prosperity of companies that are based locally – Boku is a clear example. The company has benefited from the expansion of the Boku casino industry – more and more gambling operators have chosen to offer Boku as payment method in recent times. Working alongside casino and sports betting operators has allowed Boku to grow expnentially and complete a series of acquisitions, the most recent one being that of Fortumo, an Estonian mobile payment provider.

While the company’s stunning Revenue growth for 2019 is due to a variety of factors, the growing popularity of Boku casinos accounts for a good chunk of this historical result for the London-based mobile payment company. Why more and more casino players choose Boku for their payments is easy to understand. Boku casinos allow for a play-and-pay approach where gamblers start playing and then pay at he end of the month from their phone bill.

No doubt, London-based company like Boku thriving in the next years is a key element for London’s future prosperity.

Themes

The London Papers will draw out themes from all the contributions made to Changing London.

The first asks, “What if the Mayor, its businesses, public services, charities and citizens determined to make London the greatest place on Earth to raise a child?”

The second asks how we build a city in which we all feel we belong?

The third asks how we craft a more equal city? We are the greatest city in the world, perhaps, but for whom? And at what?

The fourth asks how we retool democracy in London for the 21st century.

The fifth asks how we build a healthy city which does no harm and tackles sickness at source.
